Howard Schnellenberger

Howard Schnellenberger  Honorary Head Coach for Finesse Full Contact Football Camp 

Howard Schnellenberger currently serves as the Head Coach for the Florida Atlantic Owls located in Boca Raton, Florida.
He previously held coaching positions at the University of Oklahoma, University of Louisville, and the University of Miami, where he won a National Championship.

Schnellenberger served as an assistant coach for the 1972 undefeated Miami Dolphins after which he became the head coach of the Baltimore Colts in 1973. He is also famous for recruiting Joe Namath to the University of Alabama for Bear Bryant in 1961.

Schnellenberger is 6-0 in college football Bowl games.

1984 Orange Bowl: Miami, FL defeated Nebraska 31-30 (Won Championship)
1991 Fiesta Bowl: Louisville defeated Alabama 34-7
1993 Liberty Bowl: Louisville defeated Michigan State 18-7
2007 New Orleans Bowl: FAU defeated Memphis 44-27
2008 Motor City Bowl: FAU defeats Central Michigan 24-21

Schnellenberger was an All-American tight-end at the University of Kentucky.
