Autry Denson

Football Camp Coach

 Autry is the Head Football coach at Pope John Paul High School in Boca Raton..Denson also a serves as a member of the National Football Alumni Association and has participated in the Habitat for Humanity.  His own charity foundation, The Autry L. Denson Charitable Foundations, has sponsored several holiday food and toy drives.

Denson attended Nova High School in Davie, Florida where he played running back. He was named the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel player of the year in 1995 and in addition he set the Broward County career rushing record. He then moved on to play football at the University of Notre Dame as a four year starter. He is still Notre Dame’s All Time Leader in Career Rushing Yards.

Denson was drafted in the 1999 NFL draft; he was drafted in the 7th round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Denson played professional football for five years as a running back with the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Bears.
